Window

August 26, 2010
I woke up and remembered a dream I had. In the dream, our house had been broken into. Nothing of real value had been taken, but we could tell that someone had gone through our refrigerator and taken food. Some of the remains of their feasting were left in the refrigerator, almost as though the thief wanted to terrorize us. There were other people in the house, friends I suppose. Some of them were afraid. I went all around to make sure the doors were locked. One of the locks wasn't working properly and left that door unsecured. In spite of that, it occurred to me that the thief had probably crawled in through a window. In the dream, I said, "Well, I have a .40 caliber pistol that helps me not be afraid--that thief is the one who had better be afraid!" I went into the back room to get the pistol, and I saw a man (hispanic) standing outside the window. I left the room (without the gun) to warn the others.

When I woke up and had my time in the word, I picked up where I had left off the previous day in Psalm 119. I picked up with verse 33, which has the Hebrew letter 'He' as a subtitle. The letter 'He' is also the word "window, fence" and has the symbolic meaning "to reveal." This intrigued me, in light of the dream, so I read verses 33 through 40 with care.

I know the word says that the thief comes to 'steal, kill, and destroy.' I also know that in another dream, the Lord had said, 'put a lock on the word in your heart.'

As I read verses 33-40, one verse stood out to me: verse 36. In the NAS, it reads, "Incline my heart to Thy testimonies, and not to dishonest gain." I knew that the 'dishonest' was not in the original text, because it was in italics. So, I looked this up in the NKJV. It reads, "Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness." The word 'covetousness' had a reference to Ezekiel 33:31, so I looked that up. It says, "So they cme to you as people do; they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain."

I asked the Lord, just this morning, if I was wasting my time with this jewelry business. In light of what we know about the economy in the U.S., was I just spinning my wheels? And why was I so intent on it? Was I just filling time with busy-ness instead of focusing on what was important? After reading this Scripture in Ezekiel, and connecting it with Psalm 119:36, I believe this may be an 'unlocked door'--a way of access to the word in my heart. It is certainly taking a lot of time/energy/money. I trust the Lord will confirm His word.

NEW BOOK POST 1

INTRODUCTION
This book is for those who want to know, "How can I hear God speak to me personally?" This was a question that I had early in my walk with God. I can tell you that this is an area of constant change and (hopefully) growth; that there's no 3-step formula (sorry), and it is quite a ride!

Because this is not a "formula" book, much of what I share with you will be anecdotal. I'm no doctor or theologian. I can only tell you what I know, and share with you the things I've learned over the years. I do know this. The God of the universe, the Creator of all wants to talk with you. If that amazes you like it did me when I first found out, keep reading.

CHAPTER 1
I suppose that as far back as I can remember, I believed in God. When I was little, probably only 4 or 5 years old, I remember going to a litle Methodist church with my family. These are mostly vague memories. There are two times that stand out to me though, quite clearly. One was the day in Sunday School when we had empty jars filled with cream. We shook the jars until the cream turned to butter! I'm sure there was some sort of object lesson in there, but it was lost on me. All I cared about was we got to eat the fresh butter we had just made on crackers!

The second moment I remember was when our regular minister was gone one Easter, and in his place was a man who was a stranger to me. He may have been a lay-minister or a minister from another church--I don't know. But he talked about Jesus. And, little as I was, I understood. I didn't march to the front, or pray a special prayer, or get baptized or anything like that. But I know from that moment on, I was different. I had an understanding of God's great love for me as he read John 3:16--"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever should believe on Him should not perish but should have everlasting life." I couldn't have explained it to anyone for the world, but I had a sense of how helpless I was to save myself, how totally dependent on God I was, and in my little child's heart, I cried out to Him.

For some reason, we stopped going to church entirely. That part of our life was dropped like a hot potato, never to be picked up again. Now, I'm not so sure that was a bad thing. There are advantages to not being raised in a specific denomination or church organization. I realize now that before we left, I had a foundational belief in God, and in His Son Jesus, but no church doctrine to mold me into a particular pattern of thinking or believing.

What this is/What this is not

This site will provide ABSOLUTELY FREE information to help you pay off your debt early--your mortgage, car loan, etc.

The information provided is based on my actual experiences with this system. I have been mortgage free for over 14 years.

I will provide detailed instructions with pictures to help even the most financially challenged individual understand how the system works (coming soon).

I WILL NOT:
--Ask you to pay for this information
--Ask you for a donation
--Ask you to register
--Give you a little information, and then charge you for the rest

You may gather from the "I WILL NOT" section above that I have experienced all of these and found them most distressing! When I was in financial bondage, I was hardly in the position to PAY for information on how to get out of it!

So, look for detailed information coming soon....
